SEN Teaching Assistant Northfield, Birmingham Daily Rate- £85- £100 Start Date-ASAP Full Time (Term Time Only) LTF Recruitment are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning of children with SEN split between Year 3 & 5. The role would be classroom based and involve supporting a small group of with SEN (ASD) in lesson also supporting the class. The role is offered on a long term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate. Roles and Responsibilities: Supporting children with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Supporting the teaching and learning of children across Key Stage Two. Running intervention sessions for children. Ensuring that every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. Personal Specifications: Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD) Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience as a TA Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a one-to-one and a small group basis and running intervention sessions. Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum. A calm, patient, and caring persona. Good communication skills. A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
