Job Purpose
The role involves working closely with the class teacher, SEN team, and other staff to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment, fostering each child's individual potential.
To support the learning, development, and well-being of a Reception pupil, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication difficulties.
Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an excellent Primary school in Chorley, supporting children in small groups or on a 1-1 basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children with SEN. You will need to confident supporting students in small groups or on a 1-1 basis and a basic knowledge of the general KS2 curriculum.
The SEN Teaching Assistant role is crucial in supporting the learning and development of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) The role will be working with a child on a one-to-one basis and also working with SEND pupils in class.
