Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and nurturing Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated one-on-one support to a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate individual with a balance of energy and empathy, dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment where the child can thrive.
This part-time role is ideal for someone with a proactive approach to learning support, who is hands-on, always on their feet, and committed to making a meaningful difference in a child's academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support:.
Job Purpose
To support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils by providing assistance in classroom activities, small group work, and individual student support.
The role involves working closely with the teacher to ensure all pupils, including those with special educational needs, are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Prospero Teaching are supporting an alternative provision near Blackburn who are looking for a committed individual to join the team on a full time basis.
Do you have experience working with children/young people with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) difficulties or PTSD?
You will be supporting students on a 121 or small group basis and it is essential that you have a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role.
