You will play a vital role in safeguarding and maintaining the utmost security of all Cargo, as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers and crew throughout their journeys. As a Cargo Screener at Securitas, you are a key part of the Aviation security operation, using x-ray machines, you will be conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items in cargo to be transported, recording and escalating any issues of concern. Specific duties will include: Required to perform various tasks such as: operation of x-ray machines, physical inspection of cargo and lifting and carrying freight. Responsible for using x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto the aircraft. Maintain focus and awareness within a demanding environment, which includes distractions from within the airport environment. Make effective decisions depending on situation Flexible to work various shift lengths dependent on the volume of cargo Additional Information You will be required to attend a mandatory 3.5 week training course in Israel where you will receive indepth knowledge to provide you with the skills to operate as a Specialist Security Agent. Opportunities to progress through further training. Requirement of 37.5 hours per week with an opportunity for overtime if available.
