GiGroup is currently recruiting for General Operatives in Coventry (CV3 area), for a company producing cleaning products. Location can easily found, with parking and canteen available. The environment is based on dealing with specific chemicals to produce goods, your main responsibilities will be working and handling the finished products on the assembly line. Due to the nature of the environment and dealing with chemicals, some products on the line can produce a strong odour. - The warehouse is fully ventilated and tested regularly, so no harm is caused by handling these products. Working Hours: AM: 07:00 - 15:00 (Monday to Friday) PM: 15:00 - 23:00 (Monday to Friday) Nights: 23:00 - 07:00 (Sunday to Thursday) Main duties/responsibilities: Working on a fast-paced production line. Picking and packing the products from the line. Arranging/moving, boxes/production items onto pallets and designated areas. Heavy lifting is involved (as the finished product is fully filled with liquids). Inspecting and reporting the quality of finished products. Maintaining the working area in clean and operable condition. Role Overview We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and driven Chef to join our Catering team within our Angel Hill business division. This role will be based at our prestigious client site. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our outstanding food and drink offering to our clients and site visitors. What are the main responsibilities of the role Ensuring food quality and taste are of the highest standard. Managing inventory of stock and ordering raw materials. Controlling budgets and minimising wastage. Maintaining health and hygiene in the kitchen. Prepare and cook for clients and customers. Ideally City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery (or equivalent), but we are happy to talk to those also qualifying for their professional qualifications. Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety. Excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be interacting with the customer base and onsite clients.
