Role Overview: As a Cyber Security Engineer/Architect, you will be instrumental in defining, identifying, and specifying security countermeasures.
You will drive suppliers to deliver the required systems and changes, manage projects, and ensure that vulnerability management is advanced to provide top-tier cyber security.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Head of Cyber Security and other security and engineering colleagues, both in-house and through a 3rd party provider, to identify, specify, plan, and deliver projects and initiatives to improve cyber security.
My customer has recently undertaken a business wide security review and as such is now looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to put in to practice a number of recommendations.
The ideal Infrastructure Security Engineer will have an extensive background in Infrastructure before moving towards the security side.
The Infrastructure Engineer would have strong Cyber Security expertise and have a deep understanding of both on prem and cloud (Azure) environments.
Experienced IT Security Engineer required to bolster the Info Sec team, specifically to translate risks and threats into clear guidance of what that means to the Infrastructure, Technical Delivery and Application teams, in terms of impact and required action, with a practical and hands on approach to the delivery of the same.
6-12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Remote with 1-2 days in London per quarter as needed.
Security Cleared Network & Security Engineer required on an initial 6-month.
The Network & Security Engineer will be joining an existing team, tasked with providing BAU support as well as deployment and troubleshooting of firewalls.
