Role Overview We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site in Stratford, London The role will be shift base and include both days and nights. Please note, that this role is subjected to passing client's additional vetting. To monitor alarm systems for any alerts indicating potential security threats or emergencies. To ensure that no unauthorised persons are permitted on to the Client's premises. To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the department in line with business needs. To provide front of house cover, receiving visitors, staff, and the public when required. To present a professional and polite image to all customers, both staff and visitors. To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service. To prepare and issue visitor passes and maintain records in accordance with Client's guidelines and procedures. To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directive. To adhere to the Company's dress code and wear issued uniform. To adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations. To comply with the Company's policies, assignment instructions, management plans and procedures. About You: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK Due to the nature of our client's security checks, we are unable to consider any applications from candidates who have not lived in the UK for the last 5 years. You will ideally have experience of working in corporate environment or 5 hotels Have excellent verbal, written communication, and customer service skills. Good level of computer literacy SIA license You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail. A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Counter Terrorism Check.
