Your new company This secondary school is based in the Preston area and due to an upcoming term of leave, they have approached Hays seeking a Science teacher to start in September and continue long-term, potentially for the full academic year. This school is easily accessible and has a well established Science department with excellent facilities and significant support. Your new role Joining the Science department following the Summer Break, you will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3 and KS4. You will work closely with other department colleagues developing resources and lesson planning as a team. You will plan and prepare lessons, deliver these creating a positive learning environment and you will also mark and assess pupils work. Due to this being a long term assignment, you will be required to attend parents evenings and additional school functions. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4. You will be available following the Summer Break and able to commit to the school and the high standards that they expect from their staff.
