Due to ongoing development, my client is seeking a number of Pension Project Managers that will see you working on a wide range of large and complex projects in a client facing role. Project span across the whole Pensions Administration remit and can include implementations, benefit changes, pension dashboard, GMPE and de-risking. You will be responsible for, but not limited to: The end-to-end management of moderately complex to complex projects ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget and to a high level of client satisfaction Development and maintenance of detailed, robust, high-quality risk plan and project plan including resources, scope, cost, assumptions and dependencies. Undertaking regular work stream and project meetings, documenting and following up on actions and risks identified. This will also include regular project assessments through toll gate reviews and health checks Understanding the impact of scope changes and adjusting project plans and communication accordingly Reviewing significant project proposals of high complexity and ambiguous parameters with high visibility and identifiable risk to the company, validating all project requirements, providing recommended changes to the proposal, as appropriate Client facing communication as needed, ensuring progress, risks and issues are communicated clearly and with a solutions-focussed approach It is essential that you are already an experienced Project Manager, with deep working knowledge of DB, DC and insured pension schemes (any experience of Trust and Insurance based work would be ideal), together with excellent relationship building and communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally and be someone who is structured and organised and who is able to prioritise simultaneous workloads effectively across multiple deadlines The roles are can be aligned to any of their offices in the UK on a hybrid-working basis. JOB DESCRIPTION Regional Technical Manager - Subsidence & Surveying Division ( South East ) up to £60k Job purpose: To provide professional subsidence and surveying services in connection with domestic and commercial buildings insurance claims. To proactively manage own work efficiently and effectively to achieve business objectives and meet defined service level agreements (SLAs). To visit damaged properties and assess technical and insurance aspects required to resolve insurance claims and to reinstate damaged buildings. The role requires a willingness to travel within the UK and flexibility in working arrangements to meet business requirements. To understand, implement and comply with company procedures and policies, and actively promote the principle of treating customers fairly. To liaise with clients, policyholders, local authorities, third parties, claims handlers and other work colleagues as required. To maintain and update accurate records on the company claims management IT system. To proactively work on own initiative and manage a portfolio of work within a regional area and assist in other areas as and when required. The role will be home based and the employee will be required to maintain a suitable home office environment. There will be a requirement to attend local company offices from time to time. A company car will be provided and full driver's license is requiredDuties and responsibilities: Training will be provided which will be specific and pertinent to the role but will require some knowledge, understanding and capability in the following areas: Identifying causes of damage and construction defects, assessing repair requirements, scheduling necessary building repair works. Investigation and resolution of subsidence and general perils insurance claims. Instruction of temporary or emergency works to make damaged buildings safe. Building pathology including asbestos and damp problems. Understanding of buildings insurance policies and insurance law Professional report writing and other general correspondence, including consultation reports. Specification of site investigations and interpretation of geotechnical reports. Building construction and foundation systems. Obtaining competitive tenders, tender assessment and recommendations. Local Authority Planning & Building Regulations.Health & Safety Legislation & CDM Regulations Party Wall etc Act. Administration of building contracts and related contract law.Project management of building works onsite, valuing and authorising contractual payments and agreeing variations. Experience of cost control and financial awareness.Computer Literate - particularly MS Office Package Person specification/ key skills: Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline, e.g. Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or similar.
