We are looking for a talented and motivated Visualfiles Developer to join our dynamic team on a six-month fixed-term contract. Role Overview: As a Visualfiles Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our Visualfiles application. You will work closely with business end users to identify and document their requirements, develop workflow solutions, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. This is a home-based role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. Key Responsibilities: Develop new and enhance existing workflows, working on projects both independently and as part of a team. Collaborate with business end users to identify, document, and develop efficient workflow solutions. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, ensuring adherence to quality assurance processes. Maintain the Visualfiles case management system, suggesting improvements to software and working practices. Co-ordinate and prioritise assigned tasks to ensure timely and high-standard project delivery. Regularly update the Senior Applications Specialist with progress and any related issues. Document software solutions and create comprehensive training materials. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal business users. Person Specification: Proven ability to identify and develop efficient workflows. High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving. Highly organised with effective prioritisation skills. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with remote working tools such as MS Teams. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good time management skills.
