Now, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Director -Europe to spearhead our expansion efforts in the UK & Europe. Role Overview As Sales Director, you will report directly to the Managing Director-Europe and play a pivotal role in optimising revenue generation. Your primary focus will be on leading strategic initiatives to enhance sales performance and margins. This includes fostering robust relationships with senior stakeholders across retailers, distribution partners and brand owners, along with expanding our sales portfolio across the European landscape. Based in London, you will lead, inspire, and motivate a commercial team of Senior Account Managers to achieve ambitious growth targets with their retailers. Key Responsibilities: Further develop relationships with retailers and distribution partners in the UK & Europe, and explore opportunities to expand the business. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and oversee the development of business relationships. Guide research, competitive analysis, and interpret relevant trends to drive strategic decision-making. Collaboratively devise brand positioning and strategic initiatives for optimal placement in retailer partnerships Manage the multi-brands portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Plan and implement distribution and business development strategies for the UK & European market. Set budgets and negotiate at the top to top level with senior buying contacts / execs. Pilot sales budgets on a monthly and weekly basis, and control product assortment proposals/replenishments. Maintain optimal core range stock levels in POS and drive sell-out in stores Set monthly targets Ensure proper sell-out programs and training in regional accounts and propose/implement animations in POS. Monitor retail sales weekly and take corrective actions to achieve targets. Organise, prepare, and animate sales meetings with internal teams and key clients. Assure brand image control and visibility within licensing brand guidelines, both internally and externally Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance. Skills & Qualifications A background as Sales Manager-Europe, Sales Director - Europe, Country Director - Europe, or similar level. Must have experience winning, growing and expanding European retailers / distribution partners Experience in sales leadership roles. Background and experience fashion/multi-brand fashion products or similar. Leadership experience / team management Exceptional organisational and communication skills. Strong team-oriented and outgoing approach. Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. Proficiency in analytical tasks. You will be focused on creating demand for our security solutions and become a subject matter expert. What you'll be doing... Work with the Sales Admin Team by providing clear and full information in a timely fashion, following all set processes and procedures to ensure the customer's expectations are exceeded, the business is protected, and customer invoices are paid. Aid the Sales Admin Team in their key task of compiling a client file for the Installation Team to help enable the Team to carry out any upcoming projects. Developing sales leads within the assigned sector through self-initiated strategies, cross selling and referrals Planning a sales approach designed to determine the customers' needs and requirements for the product / services offered, and the investment the prospective customer is willing to make Maximise all sales and survey enquiries with equal effort and enthusiasm to win potential business at maximum GP. Generate your own sales enquiries through a structured, efficient and organised method and planning. Undertake sales, CPD and technical presentations to customers and potential customers as required either at their premises or Securitas offices. Regularly visiting whole customer base to keep abreast of their security requirements with a view to increasing customer portfolio size Keeping in touch with all customers to minimise attrition and ensure any issues they are experiencing are dealt with swiftly Observe all health and safety requirements, ensuring that you, and others around you are operating in a safe manner. Ensure company policies and standards are adhered to. Provide weekly / ad-hoc activity reports to the Sales Manager. Sales / Operational: Maximise the profitability of the department, by ensuring a, 'Right First Time' approach, in all aspects of your work and providing performance feedback to the engineering, technical and admin team. Not allow any job to go ahead without an installation & service contract in place first. Achieve agreed sales targets, whilst maintaining acceptable and pre-agreed levels of gross profit margin for each job. Promote Securitas with particular focus on the Intruder, Fire, CCTV, Access, Integrated Systems, products and maintenance and service contracts. Develop a contact and client base, focusing on repeat and referral business along with upgrade works and new business. Contact and develop relationships with specifier's and consultants, such as builders, surveyors, insurers, developers, architects, electricians and M&E consultants. Utilise sales and promotional products, to include sample boards, PP presentations, obtaining support from in house expertise and suppliers' expertise and facilities where possible to maximise your impact to a customer and the company. In conjunction with other internal departments, co-ordinate installations and projects to ensure a smooth, profitable and successful installation. Obtain the support of the design team to verify specifications and costs to return maximum GP. Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and expertise with systems and components of systems to ensure you are up to date with products and techniques (old, current and new) at all times. Be responsible for your learning of the latest legislation and regulations in respect of the products and services you are selling. Produce diagrams and drawings to assist with the delivery of the sale along with additional information the company deem necessary for the work to be completed without delays. Comply with the requirements of the HASAW etc. Act 1974 and where required the CDM 2015 regulations. What you'll need... Professional sales experience and good commercial awareness Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and in a timely manner Proven track record of account growth Proven track record of account management, order generation, customer development and retention Knowledge of how to draw up estimates and business proposals and technical sales surveys to both existing and new clients at their premises Proven track record of dealing with senior decision makers Experience of working in the Fire and Security Industry Knowledge of standards relating to the respective systems
