Due to the continued and exciting growth of one of our clients we are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Executive for their growing team. Based in Knaresborough, Harrogate. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Accurately processing transactions and ensuring stakeholders and customers are fully updated. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for customer service and organisation. Salary is £23,000 plus monthly commission and profit share OTE 28k. Working Monday to Friday 8.45-5.30pm with an hour for lunch. Duties and Responsibilities: To provide first class customer service to prospective and existing customers. To work proactively in order to maximise brand reputation and sales revenue through effective conversations. Maximise up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. Effectively handle inbound customer enquiries and pro-actively respond and provide solutions. Keep other departments updated with processing deals. Good communication skills are essential, you will have a great understanding of how to apply personality, empathy and professionalism into every call. Be confident and competent in working in a target driven environment, demonstrating ambition to achieve your targets and resilience where needed. Manage own workload effectively, support the rest of the team and cover other team members work as required to ensure quick turnaround and high levels of customer service are maintained. Process customer payments via Sage Online. Experience required: Excellent customer service skills/telephone manner Experience of phone work/administrative work Strong verbal and written communication Able to multi-task. My client is looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their team and provide essential support to the UK Sales teams. The successful candidate will manage price support bids, maintain accurate records on internal systems and ensure efficient management of customer finances and accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in budget and database management. Day to Day of the role: Liaise with Sales and Product Manager teams to manage price support bids and rebates, issuing reference numbers to customers. Follow up on customer claim queries and ensure all required data is received for processing. Respond to customer requirements and manage outstanding invoices, debit notes and credit notes. Collaborate with the Headquarters Sales Admin team to resolve outstanding invoice and credit note cases. Update weekly statements and obtain shipment releasing approval from Headquarters. Assist the marketing team by issuing marketing case reference numbers and uploading invoice data onto the internal system. Create and maintain sell-out and inventory reports, price support bid tracking reports and other predefined reports. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2 years of work experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to handle workload independently and prioritise effectively. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook). Knowledge of budget management and payment terms. Experience with database management. Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
