As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic sales team. The role of our Business Development Manager is suited to an enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated individual with an estate agency sales management related background, who enjoys engaging with our customers, partner clients, sales teams, admin teams and senior management. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a successful department of our market leading estate agency with firm growth plans. Key Responsibilities Daily morning meetings with Director. Setting up and managing your default diary and structure for your days, weeks, and months. Monthly Strategy meetings with Director - you should look to personally develop ideas and strategies and deliver them in these meetings. Weekly strategy evaluation meetings with Director that allow us to closely monitor our performance against the strategy we have agreed in our monthly meetings. Become a key contact for our existing partners as well as any new partners incorporated into the business by the Director. Working closely with Director to ensure we are identifying and maximising lead and business opportunities across the group. Ensure that group set targets for leads, sign ups and completions are achieved. Time will be allocated for generation of leads and instructions Produce strategies for areas of improvement and work with individual teams to implement these, providing the necessary training and development and running targeted ring out sessions. Be close to our partner/ client service delivery and understand and provide resolutions quickly and effectively for clients and staff. Ensure that new starters have been set up to succeed with a structured AS induction and training program and set up partner log ins and partner training sessions within 5 working days of start.?? Assisting with the onboarding of new partners and advertisers. Become Highly proficient with RPS as well as partners CRM's, whilst working with our finance teams to ensure we have accurate data to base decisions on.? Work with the marketing department to produce and run digital and eMarketing campaigns to promote the services offered by the department. Work with our marketing department to produce Social media content designed to promote the department and its services Internal comms - sharing success, product updates and general good news. Requirments: A minimun of 2 years estate agency experince is essential Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.30-18.00 Friday 08.30- 17.30
Our Client is a global chemical supplier and manufacturer. They sell a diverse portfolio of chemicals, intermediates, polymers, resins and advanced materials used in a broad range of markets and applications. They currently have a vacancy for a Sales Development Manager - Chemical Intermediates. The successful candidate will ideally be based in South East England. Extensive UK and occasional European travel is required. It is a full-time permanent role. Job Purpose To develop new business through effective penetration, technical promotion and service to new and existing customers and develop appropriate business for the company to support the achievement of agreed revenue targets and to manage and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers in the Chemical Intermediates business. Key Responsibilities To generate new business through research and development of the assigned companies, applications and territories To develop with assigned companies a deeper understanding of their business needs and to identify development opportunities To attend scheduled sales/operating meetings to enable discussion on new sales opportunities, financial sales results and sales objectives for the future To keep abreast of market trends, developments and competitive activities to ensure that the business is progressive To manage assigned customers' accounts receivables and avoid bad debts working with the finance department on all issues. To maintain and develop new and existing relationships with suppliers of Chemical Intermediates. To be responsible for the profit & loss of the products assigned. Submission of budgets and performance to the agreed annual budgets. To provide live feedback on the business to the team, so that the team is constantly aware of all opportunities and risks for the business Qualifications & Experience Educated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline Solid experience in sales / business development / account management Solid experience with Chemical Intermediates in the Chemical industry Excellent team interaction and team leadership skills Excellent communication skills, orally and written, both internal and external of the organization Excellent interactive and interpersonal skills Excellent negotiation skills and organizational partnering and leadership skills Must be self-motivated, focused, confident, and results driven and possess positive "can do", enthusiastic demeanour and attitude. Ability to understand, coordinate, and participate in problem resolution activities of both the internal and external partners and customers. Must possess ability to manage multiple priorities and flexible to the need to change priorities. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint. In return our Client is offering a competitive package including a basic salary of around £90,000 - £100,000 per annum plus car, bonus & benefits.
