The Senior Examinations Officer - Exams fulfils a key role, taking responsibility both as an individual and as a team member for all aspects of exam administration in liaison with stakeholders who include teaching and administrative staff colleagues, senior management, awarding body contacts and inspectors, students and parents.
You'll support and deputise for the HEA when required by assisting with recruitment, providing guidance and training to colleagues, dealing with inspections and attending college meetings and forums in their absence, and supporting and sharing work with the Senior Exams Officer - Assessment as required.
Managing day-to-day exam processes following the exam year calendar for areas assigned to this post, you'll maintain detailed and current knowledge of and compliance with awarding body and JCQ requirements, interpreting and disseminating this information to others as appropriate.

Overseeing Community Grants, commissioning and other community resources and funding.
Leading and delivering the services in scope to ensure positive outcomes for residents and the management of key contracts associated with the services - for example, but not limited to, Kingston Voluntary Action, Citizens Advice, Groundworks.

If you are an experienced Car Driver/Small Van Driver, this would be highly advantageous, although due to the nature of the role, applicants with a retail background will also be considered (such as a retail assistant or sales assistant) as strong customer service skills will be integral to your success here.
