ENGINEERING MANAGER A newly developed opportunity as arisen for a talented Engineering Manager with a degree or HNC in Engineering to lead a skilled team of engineers and help drive the company's engineering initiatives to the next level. As the Engineering Manager you will oversee the development and implementation of engineering projects, manage daily operations, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. This will include working closely with other departments to align engineering goals with company objectives and deliver outstanding results. Salary £60-72K depending on experience benefits Key responsibilities for the Engineering Manager include, Lead and manage a team of engineers, develop and maintaining their skills, provide guidance and support Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables Develop and implement engineering processes, standards, and best practices Monitor team performance, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the team Manage resource allocation and optimise team productivity Develop and improve performance measures to ensure customer satisfaction The ideal Engineering Manager will need the following, A degree, Masters or HNC in Engineering Proven track record delivering engineering projects Experience in design of technological products mixing mechanical and Electrical technologies preferably in small to medium batch for Industrial, Aerospace, medical or defence Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and configuration control Understanding of metrology concepts, industrial instrumentation and sensors Substantial experience in an engineering management role This role would suit a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager who has the ability to effectively support the company's strategy and transformation of it's New Product Introduction process.

Required Skills and Experience : Project management experience in semiconductor IP development and/or silicon development.Demonstrable understanding of various approaches to project scheduling and In-depth understanding of risk management.Understanding of hardware and software lifecycle methods such as agile, waterfall, iterative.Ability to lead, monitor and motivate design engineers alongside technical engineering leads.Excellent interpersonal skills to enable good working relationships within the development team, and networking in a multi-discipline, geographically disparate organization.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence delivering project information to our senior leadership team and partners.
