We are searching for an Engineering Planner with prior mechanical & engineering experience to join a FMCG manufacturer in Harrogate. Ideally, you will possess knowledge of Krones manufacturing equipment and Krones Asset Management software. Key Benefits: £35,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience Harrogate Based Company Pension Plan Private Medical Insurance - After 6 months Death in Service (4x Salary) The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the CMMS, overseeing maintenance KPIs and generating weekly and monthly reports. You will liaise with Engineering, Production, Technical, and Procurement departments to coordinate all maintenance planning activities. Key Responsibilities: Operating the Krones Asset Management planning software; scheduling all building based and planned preventative maintenance works and allocating tasking to the engineering team. Develop and manage maintenance planning systems, including asset care, planned maintenance, spare parts control, and task prioritisation. Produce weekly maintenance schedules and KPIs for engineering team. Generate monthly engineering and maintenance reports, identifying key performance indicators and areas for improvement. Collaborate with OEMs and alternative suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective spare parts acquisition. Key Skills: Engineering & mechanical experience within an FMCG environment. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) software; Krones Asset Management System (KAM) would be desirable. Excellent organisation & prioritisation abilities, capable of planning both short and long-term tasks. Health & Safety conscious and ability to promote a 'safety-first' culture. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. You will partner with all site teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide guidance, assistance, and challenge on EHS matters as needed. Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and lead HSE audits. Develop a culture of safety engagement and communicate successes across the business. Oversee COSHH manual management and submission of data for compliance. Conduct EHS inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement. Assist in accident investigations and provide recommendations for prevention. Review and align policies, procedures, and documentation with management systems. Maintain records related to EHS, including ISO 14001 standards.
