Due to an increased workload they require a Control Systems Engineer for a minimum of 12 months to carry out/support commissioning works on Thames Water.
My client is the largest system integrator in the water industry.
Initial 6 months of work will be South London but work beyond that could be anywhere in the Thames Water network.
We are looking for an innovative, experienced, and talented senior software engineer who will work closely with business unit and development team to develop new system capabilities as defined within the technical/ functional specifications
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for leading projects, designing system solutions, developing custom applications, and modifying existing applications to meet distinct and changing business requirements.
Handle coding, debugging, and documentation, as well working closely with SRE team.
Visit sites across the UK to troubleshoot network issues, test cables, confirm electrical compliance, and support software commissioning for the remote team.
Use a site checklist to ensure a smooth handover to the Operations Team.
As the Information and Systems Administrator, you will provide technical support to a programme of work aimed at improving the management of information within the Faculty.
This will include the administration of the School's Student Database (SDB) and managing, organising and analysing student information and feedback on the undergraduate programme.
