Systems Administrator Based Holborn (3 days wfh / 2 days onsite) Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience) Permanent My client is currently searching for a new Systems Administrator to join the IS Support Function on a permanent basis offering hybrid working based in Holborn area. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Senior Systems Administrator administering the organisations technology infrastructure. You will be the escalation for all operational and technical support / advice to approximately 215 end users on software and/or hardware related problems and when required assist the helpdesk team. Our client will provide support and training to help assist with any cyber security alerts and investigations. General Responsibilities: Liaising with third-party solution providers on escalated issues and keeping users informed of progress in its day-to-day business objectives. Responsible for the administration of network servers including but not restricted to email exchange server, file server, print server, DMS solution servers, SQL Servers, Virtual Server (MS Hyper-V) Infrastructure. Work with the Cyber Security Officer to monitor and investigate possible cyber security issues reported by network and device monitoring tools. Working in conjunction with the Head of IT, the Development team and Project Management Office with implementing Infrastructure and service improvements including Hardware and Software solutions. Ensuring all servers, desktops and laptops are regularly kept updated using the Windows Server Update Service (WSUS). Administration of remote working solution VPN and supporting offsite users. Provide initial first day training to staff on organisation Applications. Responsible for generating statistical reports from the Helpdesk management system relating to service performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Work out of hours' and when required to undertake business critical tasks in order to reduce organisational service disruption. Keeping the Helpdesk Team-leader appraised at all times of any critical issues/user concerns and escalate as appropriate. Support the Data Protection Officer and Head of Operational Support performing SAR and investigate data breaches. Essential Skills: Microsoft Server 2016-2022. Windows 10/11. Office 365 Admin / Support. Exchange Online Admin. Active Directory. Virtualised Server infrastructure Excellent customer service.
