SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Needs Assistant with a calm but firm approach, excellent communication skills and ability to attune to a child's emotional needs is required to join a well-established Academy Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.
Previous experience of working with a child with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential.

To use professional skills, knowledge, and experience and a range of interpersonal and specialist communication skills to gather information and make a full assessment of risks protection and social care needs of individuals and carers/families, within relevant legal and statutory frameworks, agreed priorities and current eligibility criteria.
