Support Worker Location: Westbury Park, Bristol Hourly Rate: £11.83-£12.78 Annual Salary: £24,606.40 - £26,582.00 plus £1500 Welcome Bonus Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week Day to Day of the Role: Provide comprehensive support to young adults, including personal care and assistance with daily living activities. Engage residents in a variety of learning, development, and social activities such as arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, and shopping trips. Work 1:1 with a resident each shift, planning their day according to their preferences and encouraging independence. Maintain a safe, supportive, and homely environment for the residents. Collaborate with the team to ensure the highest quality of care and support is delivered. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a care setting. A compassionate, empathetic, and person-centred approach to support. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Motivation to learn and commitment to residents' wellbeing. Flexibility to work to a rota pattern, including every other weekend. Good interpersonal and team working skills.
