To assess mainstream fostering applicants and to be part of our current recruitment campaign for mainstream foster carers.
Experience in fostering is preferred with the opportunity to join a fostering team with well managed caseloads and regular supervision and management support.

This includes the assessment of connected carers and the supervision of temporarily approved foster carers.
Working with individuals, families, carers/carer groups and communities within organisational and local multi-agencies, enabling them to contribute toward service planning, critically review, clarify and express their needs, evaluate the outcomes of support and safeguarding plans, identify and agree changes and determine responsibilities for implementation.
Undertake preventative work with children and families in order to reduce the need for care or accommodation and a range of community care and safeguarding assessments in accordance with relevant statutory requirements, identifying risks needs and options.
General
We are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join the Families and Wellbeing department.
Professional supervision of Social Workers and Care Navigators.
Day to day operations including - case management, case advice, guidance and discussions, chairing strategy meetings, supporting s42 enquiries, case allocations and working closely with the Team Manager to ensure effective and safe care and support to all individuals and staff.
Candidate will have undertaken relevant post qualification awards and have supervisory/management experience.
Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
Provide expert professional and technical advice to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues, and partners.
Carry out reminder calls to customers for appointments
Fully manage each day's appointment sessions
To co-ordinate and oversee the day to day operation of the Assessment Centre, managing sessions to optimise productivity and customer service, meeting and greeting all customers and visitors and working with clinical colleagues to ensure smooth running of assessments across all relevant channels.
