We are recruiting for a HR Specialist to work within the Social Policy & Industrial Relations team for a leading Aerospace organisation based in Filton, this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week on site, 2 days WFH.
Role Overview - Proactively support and contribute to the continuous progress of Company business by providing business-oriented HR solutions in the scope of HR Policies & Industrial Relations within the company ensuring compliance with labour and social regulations.
Ensure alignment and consistency of HR policies across Group in consideration of the companies countries legislation, economics and social contexts.
Act as the focal point for your contracts covering various Airbus commercial programmes with Aerostructures Procurement to lead projects as needed, manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and optimise customer value, while minimising total cost of ownership & risks.
The role contributes to all sourcing activities throughout the contract life cycle, managing tendering and contract negotiation including cost reduction and change management.
Responsibilities
Set up and lead Procurement activities for products including securing the contractual framework with the suppliers.
You will form a strong network within the PO community and across a multi-functional working environment.
As a Supply Chain and Quality Manager you will work within the team led by the Lead Supply Chain and Quality Manager and report directly to the Head of POELA.
You will be accountable for a portfolio of Landing Gear Structures suppliers who supply equipment to multiple Airbus civil aircraft programmes.
Role can be based at Airbus' Filton or Broughton site
