We are looking to recruit for an Aftercare Technical Advisor the successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with after sales activities relating to product warranty and technical support. The role: Support customers and service engineers in the swift resolution of product and system related technical enquiries or warranty claims by phone and email to agreed time scales and to the satisfaction of the end user. To make accurate diagnoses of technical queries relating to warranty claims, product installations and commissioning to manage outcomes through to problem resolution. Provide technical assistance and advice to customers and colleagues to ensure the correct product application and operation. Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical applications and controls systems Diagnostic and problem-solving experience in a technical environment Electrical experience preferably with industrial 3 phase motors, AC/DC drives, D.O.L starting methods, motor insulation testing, controls, and field wiring diagnostics Experience of a technical customer service environment. An ability to deal professionally and tactfully with customers in all situations Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes Computer literate Qualifications HND/Degree standard or with equivalent experience within a technical after sales environment, electrical/mechanical, engineering or related industry. Where you will be working Location: Cefn Carnau Lane, Thornhill, Cardiff, South Wales, CF83 1LX You will be working at Cefn Carnau, a Low Secure/ Rehabilitation service for adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability who may also present with mental illness, personality disorders and an autistic spectrum condition. Our Treatment programmes aim to reduce the presenting mental health issues and offending behaviours in a Low Secure/ Rehabilitation setting where risk can be managed and reduced in order to allow patients to step down into less restrictive environments.
