Please note this is a fully office-based role & own transport is essential due to location The Role: Provide exceptional customer service, proactively addressing customer needs and demonstrating strong industry knowledge. Efficiently handle all requests/off-hire for plant, tools, and vehicles throughout the entire hire cycle. Cultivate strong relationships with customers to address queries effectively and identify opportunities to increase sales. Effectively manage cross-hire and re-hire, working closely with our supply chain to ensure optimal value and efficiency. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment maintenance and repairs are promptly addressed, maintaining high asset functionality and utilization rates. Conduct periodic stock takes for equipment and consumables, and assist in managing the purchase of new stock. Coordinate collection and delivery schedules. Support the Hire Manager with additional duties as required. Work closely with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets, actively participating in meetings and providing suggestions for improvement.. The Person: Proactive and confident communicator via phone & email Strong self-organisation is key as well as previous experience coordinating equipment/workforce to project deadlines Proficient user of IT Packages including MS Word/Excel & use of inhouse CRMs Flexible and "get-stuck-in" work approach, willing to assist where needed to ensure smooth operations.
