GBR Recruitment Ltd, are working exclusively with a leading highly engineered products supply business, recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant The Purchase Ledger Assistant will ensure the AP side of the business is meeting accounts deadlines as well as successfully driving process improvements. You will be a key member of the companies finance & accounts team, providing timely accurate accounts payable information to other departments within the business. You will manage external supplier relationships, ensuring timely payment of their invoices. Proactive. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be integral in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Responsibilities Responsible for successful supplier on-boarding, completing appropriate checks in line with company processes & practices. Processing supplier invoices, credit card statements & expenses. Logging all queries onto the system, liaising with department heads & escalating when necessary to the Financial Controller. Thoroughly manage the accounts payable ledger, successfully completing monthly statement reconciliation's. Preparation of all payment runs. Ensure invoicing accuracy at all times. Support the finance department with ad-hoc queries. Candidate Requirements An experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Office Manager, Finance Assistant or similar. Eye for details & able to prioritise workloads. Excellent organisational & communication skills Ability to work under pressure & to tight accounts deadlines. Strong experience of using Sage accountancy software. Experience of CIS. The purpose of the role is to provide the business with a professional level of knowledge, skill, and expertise to maintain a world class scheduling system to ensure business objectives are met by your Department. The role will include the following responsibilities - Amend / update and maintain SAP MRP Create, amend / update and maintain contract scheduled requirements in line with corresponding bills of material and forecasting projections. Allocate components to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectives ensuring working capital is maximised. Utilise Optimiza and SAP inventory methodology to resolve day to day inventory issues on assigned contracts or materials Process Purchase Orders for Range Managed parts and Offload Orders Place Production Orders for in house manufactured parts and kits, used for onsite and offsite modification and repair embodiments, identify and escalate shortages with forecasts and potential risks to internal customer. Launch the timely procurement of externally supplied parts and interplant/intercompany materials via a released purchase requisition Mitigate and plan the effect of non-conformance on delivery schedules Identify future forecast requirements into Range Management and Procurement Expedite Material Supply Management and assist in the creation of reporting to monitor the performance of the supply chain. This position is a temporary assignment which is ongoing. The role is working 37 hours per week on a flexi basis. This role is paying between £16 and £18.36 an hour dependant on experience and you will benefit from free parking and a onsite canteen and shops.
Skilled Operator -Paint Shop / Yeovil / £19.61 per hour We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our client as a Painter for Transmission Parts. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, preparing, treating, and spraying a variety of transmission parts to aerospace standards. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality components for critical applications. Responsibilities: Masking of parts according to process sketch drawings and SOP's. Preparation of parts for treatments such as Alocrom, Chromate, and DOW. Chemical cleaning of parts to ensure optimal surface conditions. Spraying a wide variety of materials to aerospace standards. Assisting with oven loading and logging times of oven throughput. Preparing and masking gear box assemblies, including caulking. Supporting the copper plating line through pre-cleaning, vac blasting, and masking as required. Inspecting post-treatments and conducting in-process measurements, including thickness measurements. Conducting tape testing and thickness measurements of batches. Conducting weekly random thickness testing in accordance with WHPS081. Performing adhesion tests of Chromate using white filter paper (WHPS 194). Completing verification of check sheets and maintaining records. Recording viscosities for each mix and maintaining records as per WHPS081. Recording temperature and humidity measurements daily. Maintaining planned maintenance boards and conducting daily process checks. Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Qualification to NVQ Level 3 or completion of a time-served apprenticeship. Experience working within a manufacturing company or equivalent is desirable. A flexible approach to work and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team. Willingness and enthusiasm to undertake training in masking and preparation of work, including handling aircraft parts, manual handling, and the use of cleaning and masking equipment.
