Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work in one of our Pupil Referral Units in Southend, Essex.
This position would be working with students who have been excluded from mainstream schools due to severely challenging behaviour - this could be to SEMH needs or SEN needs (ASD/ADHD etc).
The role is Full-time starting ASAP and pays between £80-95 per day depending on experience.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).
Provide high-quality one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in up to 15 hours a week per student.

Successful tutors should be able to support mainly with the core subjects of Maths, English and Science across all key stages.
Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support pupils on a 1:1 or group basis with their learning development and care needs while at school.
