Senior Structural Engineer required for our client based in Kent, our client is seeking an experienced, dedicated, senior structural engineer to join their team, working with some of the largest retailers and developers in the UK with some exciting projects ranging all the way up to £150m.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a consistently growing business with a diverse workload, mostly in the food & retail, medical and large commercial building sectors.
The ideal candidate will have strong client facing skills, a minimum or 6-7 years' experience and preferably be Chartered, if not, have a desire to become Chartered with which the company will assist.
You will be working with a team of in-house Asset Inspectors assisting with the management & implementation of the structural inspection regime in line with legislative requirements and/or best practice taking cognisance of structural form, type, condition and use ensuring the assets remain safe for operation.
You will assist in overseeing the structural inspection regime, reporting on inspection findings, and applying your critical judgement to recommend an efficient programme of maintenance and repairs.
You will also support other team members of the in-house Engineering team with design and delivery of development and maintenance projects.
