Structural CAD Technician - Central London - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus pension, bonus & benefits A structural CAD position focused on prestige work with an emphasis on London projects. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment for a highly regarded, medium size practice, a firm providing excellent working conditions and consistently interesting work. It also provides the opportunity to develop invaluable Revit skills. You will work closely with the principal CAD technician and structural design team to produce CAD details and general arrangement drawings. Company Overview: An independently owned practice employing over seventy staff that has traded successfully for over forty years. Their expertise is in structural, Faade and M&E engineering and they have an international workload. This is a European owned firm, the position is in their long established London office that has a focus on building structures engineering. Project Workload: An emphasis on new developments, punctuated by high rise schemes, typically up to 40 storeys, and major refurbishments. Projects include student accommodation, hotels, multi-storey residential, education, commercial and healthcare buildings. Profile Required: You should have an HNC/ HND, degree or equivalent in civil engineering, structural engineering or computer aided design. Four years upwards CAD experience is required, which should have a focus on building superstructures. Hybrid Working: The company remains committed to offering employees the option to work from home two to three days per week.
Panels Structures Assembly Technician £23.82 per hour. Umbrella. Stevenage - 5 days onsite. Certain Advantage is hiring for a Panels Structures Assembly Technician based in Stevenage. This role is on a 6-month contract basis and is office based. Working within the operations team to consistently produce items which conform to all quality requirements in accordance with the production plan. Does this sound like your next career move? The role: Highlight any anomalies and second close non-conformances where applicable, and proactively liaise with the Team Leader/Engineering to update paper works to reflect build sequence and data capture requirements. To work in accordance with LDS (local document system) describing methods and procedures. Complying with standard processes, specific area requirements and health and safety requirements. Promote and follow Cleanroom regulations, local area health and safety requirements and 5S policy within local work areas Ability to read and work to shop floor documentation such as routings, drawing, work instructions and bills of material. Working to the required process standard as dictated by the relevant area skills matrix. Responsible for the completion of all paperwork relating to the operations undertaken, including traceability stamps and recording any other additional information as required. Reporting and highlighting errors to ME where applicable. Taking progress and reporting to Lead Technician / Team Lead when required. The individual We are looking for people who can show: Previous experience such as Composite manufacturing, mechanical fitter, close tolerance sheet metal worker, time served mechanical technician. Ability to work from detailed drawings and electronic work instructions - within specific procedures. Experience in industries such as Space/Aerospace/Automotive/Motorsport etc. Ability to work in confined spaces above floor level (Working at height) Experience of working within a clean room environment and of being part of a team and leading activities.
