As a Principal Engineer - Structural Analysis you will lead the Analysis team to deliver efficient structural engineering solutions within the Automotive sector. About The Role To work as part of a team on a large site. Must be able to use initiative to complete waste duties. Follow instructions from the Site Waste Re-Cycling Supervisor and Waste Manager, ensuring the correct company policy and procedures are always upheld. To ensure all waste is collected & standards are met to the contract specification. You will be working, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, 37.5 hours per week, on a fixed term full-time basis. Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role : Assist team in waste segregation. General housekeeping standards within the waste re-cycling centre. To ensure all duty of care requirements are adhered to. Ensuring all external waste points are serviced in accordance with client requirements. Liaise with both OCS and JLR stakeholders with regards to process improvements. Work as part of a team to make sure all waste is processed within a timely manner. Role requires an element of physical working/manual handling. Feedback to Waste Re-Cycling Supervisor regarding any concerns or process failures. As JLR requirements deem on occasions assist in general duties in other areas as directed. Personal Characteristics/Attributes : Be flexible to cover other JLR waste sites as required (own transport would be required). Be willing to work with the use of computers and IT skills (learning and understanding the OCS and JLR systems for example eTrackers and Safety Reporting) - preferable not essential. Work tasks involved are both internal and external working proactively alongside your team. You will be required to work with waste machinery such as a cardboard baler, waste compactor, tyre shear (full training provided). Participate in team training and development on a regular basis provided. Current/valid Forklift counterbalance licence A full valid driving license is essential - use of an OCS flatbed truck (3.5T).
