About the role Title Retail Security Officer Pay Rate £12.75 PH Location Winton Shift Timings Part time, 2 days a week, Friday 12:00 - 20:00, Sunday 10:00 - 16:00 Breaks - unpaid You will be working in a well-known retail store which holds various stock, some of which may be of high value such as meat and alcohol. Due to this, we are looking for a confident candidate who can monitor and deter theft, provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, as well as provide safety and security to both staff and visitors alike. Follow ASCONE Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store. Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices. Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations. Provide exceptional customer service. To succeed in this role, you will need the following: Minimum of 6 months' experience is security is a must. Ideally being in retail is preferred, however not essential. SIA License. Be confident, outgoing, friendly, and willing to learn. 5-year checkable work/career history. Due to this expansion, they are looking to an experienced Maintenance Electrician to their site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting the engineering team in reaching a higher level of standard. The key responsibilities will include: Install, repair, renew, test and maintain electrical installations as required, meeting all site requirements Inspect, test and issue certification for electrical installations and repairs Carry out planned routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, corrective maintenance on site machinery Complete all necessary documentation and ensure it is kept up to date Isolation and de-isolations in accordance with permit to work code of practice Ensure good engineering and housekeeping procedures in all work areas The Successful Applicant: Ideally have experience of working in Manufacturing Time served Electrician Qualified to City & Guilds level or above An understanding of Health and Safety Legislation Knowledge of rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards Highly organised Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to work on own initiative What is on Offer?
