Rate of pay: £12.30 p/h - £24k per annum Role Type: Ongoing Temp Role - 12 months maternity cover Working Hours: Monday to Friday - alternate shifts - 8am to 4pm & 8:30am to 4:30pm Location: Corby - Site based Stock Administrator Role Overview To assist in the smooth operation of the logistics function by ensuring Warehouse stock accuracy and maintenance of product, storage & system parameters are maintained To ensure stock losses & gains are kept to a minimum within the logistics function Stock Administrator Duties: To communicate effectively with internal contacts to resolve any general queries in a timely manner updating all company records. Analyse stock movements & identify trends Research and reconcile stock discrepancies Analyse and interpret reports and stock allocation information To manage, control and perform perpetual cycle counts. Performing investigations for stock discrepancies and reporting on results and any identified trends. To assist with the warehouse utilisation by maintaining storage, product & System parameters, controlling quality held stock and performing investigations into repeated protocols, open shipments and goods issue shipment errors. To compile and maintain KPI figures for the results of the PIC activity, protocols and nil picks. To manage, perform & analyse stock losses & report to management. Be responsible for stock integrity within the distribution centre Analyse, Investigate & reconcile stock losses, gains and movements To work as part of the Stock team providing cover for sickness / absence / holiday for other members of the team. Prioritise personal workload ensuring its completion in a timely manner and reporting any problems. To attend training/ course classes as required To perform all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent with both training and experience. Adhere to all Company processes, procedures, policies and standards. I am pleased to be recruiting on a temporary to permanent basis an experienced warehouse/stock administrator. You will be required to work from 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday and the hourly rate whilst temporary will be based on a salary of £26,500. The warehouse/stock administrator is a vital role in the business, you will be producing documentation detailing stock movements from production to warehouse and entering accurately, product related data onto the system. Attention to detail and data accuracy is especially important as my client works with newly manufactured stock. Duties of the role: Goods in duties, including booking in stock on the system Ensure the efficient booking of vehicles into site for unloading Checking inbound deliveries and paperwork for accuracy & receipting deliveries Creating labels for goods in Chasing late bookings Liaising with drivers as they arrive on site filling in paperwork for Site H&S rules Passing the booking to an available FLT driver to ensure vehicles are unloaded in a timely manner Updating stock and warehouse systems - accurate, efficient data entry Investigating stock discrepancies Filing, scanning and other administrative tasks Being confident communicating with customers and colleagues via internal and external phone calls Person Specification: Stock/warehouse administration experience High attention to detail IT/Computer literate Proficient in Excel Please do not hesitate to apply online if you have the experience as detailed above.
