Brakes have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Steward to join the central data team, reporting to the Head of Data, Reporting & Insights GB.As the Data Steward for Data and Analytics it is your responsibility to ensure Sysco GB activities within the data and analytics space are consistent, monitored and compliant with defined standards and governance.The role sits as a key co-ordinator within the central data team, supporting the enablement of nimble and functional data and analytics innovations within governed standards and principles to ensure data architecture principles are adhered to, development standards are maintained and risk and opportunities within the data network are identified and understood.The role has responsibility for efforts undertaken within Sysco GB data and analytics only and does not support International or US owned items within the GB space.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Deploy and steward the Analytics Development Process and Ways of Working with functions ensuring compliance and educating on standards (e.g., coding / data builds /refresh times / scheduling/ capturing criticality / service support agreements etc)Manage analytics archiving rules ensuring dashboards are reviewed and cleansed according to standards.Store centrally Data and Dashboard business ownership and review access rights aligned to security views / Manages license requirements and challenge to reduce costs as required.Ensure all developments pass through the required governance process (i.e., TDA) if required and highlight exceptions to future state architecture.Own and manage the data catalogue and lineage mapping / data configurations / reporting data (or data process) dictionary across the data landscape.Assess data or application changes for business impacts / support technology change programmes assessing impacts to data requirement.
