4Recruitment Services are seeking a Social Work Assistant for our client based in Sheffield.
You will be required to assist Social Workers and other staff within the children's disabilities services to improve and maintain the quality of the service provided to children and families, within the requirement of current legislation, regulations and guidance as applied by the City Council.
Work alongside Social Workers to provide advice and practical support to children and young people who are deemed "in need" under the Children Act 1989 or identified as in need of support.
To champion best practice, leading and facilitating practice development forums for staff, contributing to the development of service improvement and delivery.
Purpose of the Post To carry a workload requiring exemplary practice in situations of high complexity, exercising a degree of autonomy.
Regular supervision will be in accordance with the Directorate's supervision policy.
