Our client, Barnsley Coucnil is looking for a qualified social worker who can support the Front Door in adult social care with screening safeguarding referrals and making timely decisions, in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will also be part of a rapid response service that undertakes face-to-face visits to assess the needs and risks of adults who are experiencing or at risk of abuse or neglect when required and provide appropriate advice and support.
The team is also responsible for triaging incoming work to adult social care and ensuring that referrals are directed to the most suitable service or team.
