We are seeking those who have been working for a minimum of 1 year post-qualification and registration in the UK. In this role you will grow your medical knowledge and work in a health and disability assessment role conducting holistic assessments with applicants of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit. There is unrivalled investment in you as an employee and you will earn over 140 hours of CPD in your initial 3 months whilst completing an excellent training academy as you work towards accreditation as a Disability Assessor. Full or part time posts are available. Part time is a minimum of 22.5 hours per week but all practitioners are required to commit to full time for the initial 6 weeks of training. We are looking for a Locum Physiotherapist to cover an assignment at Chicksands Medical Centre (MoD), in Shefford, Bedfordshire. This is a locum role (37.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MOD service personnel. Physiotherapist - Essential Requirements: Must be HCPC Registered. Must be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP). Must have a Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy. Must have experience working at post-graduate diploma level in the assessment and treatment of muscular-skeletal disorders, sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, mobilisation and manipulation. Must have a minimum of two years post graduate clinical experience in MSK disorders. This shall be evidenced within the CV. Must have previously held a position as a Specialist Physiotherapist Band 6 or equivalent. Must have evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
