Come and join us as a results driven Sales Assistant on a flexible hours basis to deliver sales and exceed customer expectations as part of a hugely successful branch team.
You will be contracted to 16 hours a week, but you will be flexible to work a weekly pattern of up to 37.5 hours a week to cover peak trading hours, holidays and meet business needs
The role
As a Sales Assistant, you'll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, and you'll be professional, driven and enthusiastic.
Responsible for maximising sales through stock optimisation, whilst acting as a key point of contact for stores operational teams.Working closely with the merchandising team to deliver sales stock and profit targets by providing accurate and timely administration to support the department and wider business.
Partners with keystakeholders to ensure stock is in the right place, and at the right time across the store estate.
Utilises historical performance and analysis data to advise and collaborate on allocation decisions.
JOB PURPOSE: Leading, managing, and inspiring a diverse merchandising team ensuring that the team is motivated, well trained, engaged and empowered to perform their role effectively and efficiently.
Working collaboratively with internal teams to drive the overall store performance whilst managing stock flow andcapacities.You will provide a focus on store profiles, sharing this knowledge with the teams to strategically drive optimum stockplacement in stores ensuring sales and profit targets are met.Works with both internal and external stakeholders maintaining business relationships and contractual processes toensure business objectives are met.
Proactively makes plans and measures the effectiveness of their team in achieving business targets and financial goals, ensuring control processes and success indicators are achieved.
