Position: Studio Technician (Artworker) Location: Lowestoft Role Overview: Our client is currently seeking a skilled Studio Technician (Artworker) to join their vibrant Studio team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in desktop publishing software to produce high-quality artwork for a variety of projects, ranging from sales aids to large-scale digital graphics. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be paramount to ensure project success within tight deadlines. Core Responsibilities & Tasks: Utilize industry-standard software packages (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Workflow Management, ERP - Shuttleworth) to create artwork. Interpret technical drawings and conduct site surveys, converting data into bill of manufacture. Restore artwork from archives and facilitate its availability for production. Generate and process job sheets via ERP System (Shuttleworth). Prioritize and schedule work in alignment with production planning. Calculate material usage/requirements and maintain accurate records. Conduct occasional offsite visits for client meetings and site surveys. Desirable System Knowledge: While not mandatory, familiarity with colour management and scripting languages (Javascript/Applescript) would be advantageous. Salary: £26,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm (Hybrid, 2 days in the office per week) The Role: An exciting opportunity has emerged to join our client's Customer Experience team as an Artworker. You are responsible for helping customers get the most out of their creative products by ensuring they have a consistently high quality and personalised experience. Key Responsibilities: Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats in line with customer briefs and their brand requirements. Creating and managing our 'Pick your own' templates and requests, making changes and uploading to the Online Hub. Carry out proof checking on other members of the Design teams work prior to proofing to customer. Ensuring high standards of work are kept across the team. Handling New Orders in a timely and efficient manner. In line with customer briefs and their brand requirements whilst ensuring they are delivered within team KPI requirements. Be an expert in our design service, responding to customers and internal teams by phone or email who need support. Manage the asset collection for customers who are sending their own creatives, ensuring these comply with ASA and CAP guidelines as well as our own terms and conditions. Working efficiently within the team to provide a seamless service to customers through a variety of communication channels and within set standards and KPI's. Helping your Team Leader and Manager with bespoke projects including trialling new processes and initiatives. Helping other areas of our design team dependent on where demand might be on any given day, and from time to time being ready to step in and help the wider Customer Experience team. Proactively and constructively contributing ideas and challenging the team processes where potential improvements have been identified. Liaising with Contracts co-ordinators to ensure all creative assets are ready when setting up a new customer. Managing various services and requests within the design team. 'Pick your own' promoting this service where applicable and uploading creatives to the website. Helping drive customer engagement of current and future self-service initiatives. Work alongside Design Facilitators to assist in Categorising, Uploading and Ad Moderation tickets where necessary. Essential Skills: A good knowledge Adobe Photoshop is essential. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is an advantage but not essential. Good layout and typographical skills and knowledge of fonts. Problem-solving skills and the ability to know when to ask for help. Has great prioritisation skills, is able to appreciate urgency and act accordingly. Takes responsibility for your own workload, and for that of the team. You should be able to work under your own initiative and be self-motivating, determined to ensure the Design KPI's are always within our team targets and the ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. Accurate and methodical with high standards, an excellent eye for the detail, so everything you put your name to is right first time for our customers.
