Position: Special Process Engineer Area: Derbyshire Salary: £40k - £45k The Company: Aerospace Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5.00 pm, Friday: 8:00am - 1:00 pm The Role: You will work alongside the Quality Manager and are responsible for all Nadcap accredited process e.g., Heat Treatment, Welding, etc. ensuring internal audits are conducted, and appropriate systems are embedded within the businesses QMS to ensure that processes used, and products produced during their manufacturing cycle meet the applicable quality standards required by their internal procedures, customers & regulatory bodies with the overall aim of enhancing customer satisfaction. This role also requires you to act as an escalation point of contact for all special process related concerns. Responsible for the implementation and management of all special process, customer and regulatory accreditations. Identify process and product improvements to relevant departments and have an active involvement in continuous Improvement projects. Lead 5y, 3C, 8D etc. as appropriate to the investigation and determination of root cause and the implementation of corrective and preventive action including customer complaints. Perform internal audits in line with the audit schedule using Nadcap audit checklist, including the management and closure of any subsequent non-compliance. Lead external regulatory and Nadcap audits. Creation of data cards as applicable. Review and approval of QMS documentation as required. Ensure equipment is calibrated. Analysis of data. Creation and amendment of procedures as required. Creation of standard operating procedures. Conduct training as appropriate. Completion of concessions/deviation permits, non-conformance reports etc. as appropriate. Liaise with all internal stake holders as appropriate. Liaise with businesses customers and suppliers as appropriate. Review and disposition of non-conforming product. Raise & complete engineering change requests. PIR completion as applicable. Work in an accurate and timely fashion. Promote the content of the Company's BMS, Health and Safety Policy and your responsibilities within the Policy. Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy & procedure including those related to health & safety, business management system, data protection & employee handbook. Requirements: Experience in a precision manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years previous management experience. Strong time management skills with an attention to detail. IT literate to intermediate level. Specialise in one or more of the following areas, Heat Treatment, Welding, Chemical Processing, NDT, Laser Cutting. Familiar with AMS2750 Pyrometry requirements. Knowledge of Nadcap special processes (desirable). Familiar with MRP systems. Understanding and management of regulatory approvals such ISO 9001, AS9100 etc... Familiar with customer requirements such as Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Pratt & Whitney etc... Proven track record of project management success. Computer literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. Good interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree, or HNC / HND, ONC, BTec Diploma Level 4 or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification Experience of auditing, ISO9001 or similar modern standards at lead auditor level.

Security Officer pay rate: £13.62 per hour Hours: 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00 - 2 shifts days 2 shifts night then 4 days off Location: Draycott Duration: Temporary 3-6 months( sickens cover) A SIA Licence is required Security Officer Role: To carry out and record site patrol inspections in accordance with written procedures. (Lone worker device to be used at all times, when on patrol and or alone on site). To work on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, providing 24/7 security cover to the site. To arrive for work in plenty of time so as to ensure a smooth and efficient handover from the duty officer. To give as much notice in advance to the Senior Security Officer if unable to attend for a rostered shift, so that cover can be arranged. To remain on duty until relieved by another security staff member. To ensure the security post is manned at all times when personnel are on site and to lock the post when this is unavoidable or during patrols when the site is closed. To monitor CCTV system and act in accordance with written procedures. To serve on the company incident for first aid often being the sole first aider on site. To ensure you do not present yourself for duty if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. To search vehicles and Company personnel as and when required in line with Company procedures. To carry out actions detailed in the companies flood action procedure. To lock and unlock all offices, production buildings etc in accordance with procedure and factory operating requirements. To set and unset all factory alarms in accordance with factory operating requirements and procedures. To maintain a smart and professional appearance and manner at all times To be responsible for the care and maintenance of all personal equipment issued by the company.
