To provide key leadership in case management of SEN appeal related cases to ensure that the Council discharges its responsibilities effectively in relation to statutory appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST).
To represent the Local Authority at the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal and defend appropriateness of the proposed service provision for an individual child/young person.
Provide directed advice, information, and guidance in relation to Compass House and the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner, open and close reception, receive visitors, manage enquiries and bookings through a clear booking process, and maintaining all public facing areas to high standard.
Lead on the day to day running of Compass House by undertaking receptionist functions including, being the first point of contact for enquiries, by telephone or otherwise, from members of the public, partner agencies, internal staff including the Kent Police Public Enquiry Officers at.
