Day-to-day of the role
Conduct lab-based practical work and literature-based studies to support R&D programs.
The R & D Chemist will be responsible for driving ideas from initial stage through to final production, encompassing tasks such as literature review, collaboration with suppliers, and the ultimate development of products leading to manufacturing.

Our established client based in Corby is recruiting a Development Chemist on a permanent basis to manage Research and Development Projects from brief to scale up to production, taking an active lead with formulation work.
Working with support from the R&D Manager you will be an active member of the Research and Development Team, develop and implement plans to ensure the successful launch of products ensuing products are developed according to the requested launch dates, costs, and claims.
Briefs can come from both customer requests and internal business strategy.
As high-level graduate (BSc, MSc or PhD) of Chemist, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering Scientist with several years industrial experience you will embark on a development / product synthesis and analysing opportunity.
