Our client, a leading London university, is looking to appoint a temporary Research Manger to lead on bid development and submission in an HSS school. The post holder will provide high level professional advice and support to the ongoing development and implementation of School research strategies and innovation activities for your allocated School. This is a FTC, running until the end of January 2025 in the first instance. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days on site in east London. Some key duties and responsibilities: Manage systems for data management and analysis, including analysis and modelling scenarios for REF, KEF, impact and other purposes as required, as well as develop and maintain systems independently to record and manage research data for reporting as required. Contribute to the development of the School/s's research and impact strategy, working proactively with senior academics to enhance research activities and foster impactrelated activity. Manage and report on the financial sustainability of research projects including research funding activity on awards and highlight potential risks, ensuring compliance with financial procedures and funder expectations.
