Job Description: Religious Studies Teacher Location: This position is located in Leicester. Job Type: This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate is expected to work full-time hours. Salary: MPS - UPS3 £30,000 - £46,525 per annum At GSL Education in Leicester we have been asked by our clients to help them find Religious Studies, Philosophy, Ethics and Humanities Teachers for the new academic year starting in September 2024. Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to students Develop and implement curriculum in line with educational standards Assess students' progress and provide feedback Support students in their academic and personal development Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Religious Studies or related field Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Religious Studies Education: Minimum of a degree in Religious Studies or Humanities Experience: Prior experience teaching Religious Studies preferred Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students Strong organisational skills Proficiency in educational technology Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: The role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. Regular working hours are expected, with occasional additional hours for meetings or events.
