Regulatory Compliance Officer Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our growing company. The successful candidate will be integral to our import and export processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing technical guidance, and supporting process improvements across the organisation. Day to Day of the Role: Ensure understanding and compliance with UK import/export regulations, including the movement of Dual Use and controlled goods. Update and implement import/export processes in line with the latest regulations. Lead process improvement initiatives related to compliance. Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance. Work with the Export Control Organisation (ECO) on compliance visits. Coordinate compliance training programs and awareness communications. Maintain all import/export documentation and records. Manage records for goods requiring import/export licences. Liaise with suppliers and customers on compliance issues. Promote and maintain compliance throughout the organisation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Level 3-4 Certificate in Customs Compliance. Experience with import/export licence applications using the Department for International Trade SPIRE system. Proficiency in making entries on CDS / Chief customs system. Technical understanding of import/export control procedures, particularly UK regulations. Generalist compliance program experience. Strong administrative, organisational, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
