The Role of the Regional Sales Manager: Joining as the Regional Sales Manager, your role will be management of a team of 4 sales professionals covering the South East. Your team will be selling healthcare capital equipment through into the healthcare sector and dealers. You will be tasked with improving revenue as well as profitability of the area / division through support, training, and development of the team. 85% of the role will be working with the team on their accounts, attending customer meetings etc while the other 15% will be spent working with HQ, in house meetings and working from home. The Candidate for the Regional Sales Manager: The successful candidate needs to have a strong sales / management background ideally in the healthcare market however other sales management backgrounds will be considered. You need to be an autonomous, friendly, hardworking individual that prides themselves on motivating and getting the best out of others. Manage business development targets and contractual and commercial performance targets. Manage the team in identifying, pursuing and closing new business development opportunities. Lead client development and relationship management in line with the business plan. Manage team performance in line with business guidelines with regular review of individual performance and agreed plans on individual requirements on learning and development. Stakeholder management support and develop detailed proposals and business cases for individual clients both existing and new. Plan strategic initiatives with team and marketing. Management of the contractual positioning in line with business targets including both volume and margins expectations as detailed in the commercial budget. About You as the Regional Field Sales Manager: Background working in a Field based sales role in the energy sector. Experience of working with commercial tenders, complex contracts including tenders within OJEU Contracts. Strong ability to do both large commercial and intricate negotiations. Demonstrate an effective understanding of detailed commercial and financial data. High level of numeracy and attention to detail. Committed, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills.
