Regional Manager - Facilities Management The FMC Network are currently recruiting for a Regional Manager within the Facilities Management arena. Reporting to the Head of Core Operations, the Regional Manager will be responsible for the performance and financial outcomes for Additional Works, planned and response maintenance within my clients Built Estate contract covering around 20 sites in Central England. You will have direct line management responsibility for 4 Area Managers, who will assist you in creating and maintaining an environment in which teams and individuals can perform at their best, improve performance, and realise their full potential. Responsibilities: Plan and co-ordinate operational activities ensuring effectiveness and value for money Ensure adherence to the Company's contractual responsibilities and internal quality procedures including management reporting, development, budget, forecasting and financial control. Ensure that all maintenance and response works are completed to the required technical standards and that all documentation is completed and distributed in a timely manner. Efficient operation of a system of reporting of the physical progress of Additional Services. Oversee the progress of Core and Small projects within the Region Contribute to the delivery of effective business plans and the prompt resolution of key commercial or client issues. Work closely with all stakeholders to support the management and mitigation of contract risk. Organise and motivate a diverse and mobile team of professionals ensuring that their objectives and performance jointly deliver the requirements of operations to the contract and manage service delivery in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies. A large focus of this role will be client engagement. You will confer with the client (Defence Infrastructure (DIO) and the Armed Forces) to agree scope and priorities of work, agree outline plans and review management & tasks on a regular basis. In addition to being very visible across all sites in the Region, you will be expected to liaise with the client on a daily basis, with weekly and monthly meetings to report on the contractual performance, KPIs, compliance, supply chain, etc. The successful candidate for this Regional Manager position should be a Senior Leader from a Facilities Management or Construction contract delivery background, with a proven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships directly with external stakeholders at all levels. You should have multi-site operations management experience with a sound understanding of budget management, supply chain management, risk management and experience of change management and continuous improvement. Due to the continued success of the property facilities team a rare client-side opportunity has become available for an experienced Regional Facilities Manager. Reporting into the Head of Facilities Management for the UK this role is key to the strategic management plan of the company and will focus on a portfolio of 15-20 Multi Let Industrial properties based along the M62 corridor and up the A1 to Newcastle . There will also be some travel to Yorkshire/Lincolnshire and NE areas. Due to the location of the portfolio this role will suit someone living in or near Leeds. The primary focus will be to improve communication and service delivery to each of the properties, engaging with suppliers, occupiers, and Asset Management to provide service excellence. Key responsibilities will include, Working closely with the asset management team regarding service budgets Contractor management- meeting with key contract managers to drive performance across hard and soft service lines, compliance, reports, and performance management Property Maintenance- identify key areas where maintenance is required, maintain all drawings for property portfolio, plant and equipment testing, regular inspections, utilities management Tenant Liaison- maintain good relationships with tenants, interaction meetings, customer care Health, Safety, and Risk Management- organise site work, manage all H&S matters in buildings, checking permissions, insurances, risk assessments Reporting- provide regular reports to Head of FM on portfolio performance, existing risks and viable, robust solutions, business case proposals, and contractor data As the successful Regional Facilities Manager, you will have/be IOSH Experience working in a fast paced managing agent Experience in a multi site role is essential - not single site Budget management experience Able to manage a workload, balancing various sites and tasks Practically minded Knowledge of building contract management In return, my client can offer a salary of c£50,000 - £55,000 DOE plus car and bonus, and benefits including pension, health, and life insurance.
