Establish new key customer relationships and help establish contractual supply agreements before passing sales responsibilities to the regional teams under structured arrangements. Support the Commercial Director to establish strategic opportunities for the business. Work in collaboration with all Departmental Managers to support improvements in customer service opportunities. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Conduct bi-monthly in person meetings with each Area Sales Manager to assess sales performance in front of customers, identify opportunities for improvement. Provide written reports on these meetings with agreed action plans to couple consistent growth in sales and margin targets alongside individual personal development plans. The written reports from the bi-monthly meetings to act as baseline data for Grading Reviews and Training Opportunities for further personal development. Provide monthly reports against each Area Sales Manager region to assess sales and margin performance against agreed targets, at a customer and product level, and to identify action plans to address performance improvements to each individual within the team. Monitor pricing trends and requirements to ensure all sales opportunities are fully evaluated via Lowest Selling Pricing, Margin limits to 25% GM by the Commercial Manager and passing opportunities below 25% Margin to the Commercial or Managing Director.
