Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller role: Controlling the collection of non-Key accounts. Chasing payment from Customers. Cash allocation. Credit checks. Logging, and clearing queries. Liaising with internal departments. Dealing with customers over the phone. Taking Credit Card Payments. To meet the requirements of their Credit Controller you must have: Excellent telephone manner.
