A leading outsourced services provider in South Leeds are looking for a management accountant to join their team on a permanent basis, This role is suitable for someone who is in their later stages of their studies or qualified, however, qualified by experience candidates will be considered. With in this role, you will be responsible for accurate and timely management accounts for the division, working with local accountants and auditors to ensure that all statutory requirements within the country are met. You will also Provide business support to Operational management, including but not limited to, analysis of financial information and budgeting / forecasting support. Duties of the role: Deliver the month-end process for the division for the entities they are responsible for. Increase the scope and integrity of financial information provided at month-end close to enable accurate measurement of performance and support decision making. Ensure that the month end accounts are accurate and match the under-pinning sub-ledgers and transactions. Drive increased insight into the monthly reporting processes, measuring performance against key indicators and providing insight and commentary. Own the balance sheet review process and provide focus on key areas of risk/opportunity. Ensure all information is submitted within deadlines and focus on standardisation and simplification of month-end processes to reduce reporting timeframes Work with FP&A to build budgets and forecasts within the required timescales. Providing data to in-country Accountants / Auditors in a streamlined and structured manner backed up by full reconciliations. Attending Cluster meetings to provide financial insight, following up on any actions and providing support where required. Development of Financial systems/reporting Support the Divisional Finance Controller in meeting the aims of the unit, specifically around accuracy of the accounts, the general ledger and supporting ledgers, and the reports produced. Any other ad-hoc duties This role will come with a hybrid working pattern (3 days from home), study support and flexible hours. Salary: Up to £48,000
