Senior Regeneration Officer Duration: 3-6 months initially possible extension Rate: Negotiable Rate Inside IR35 Hours: 37 hours per week Hybrid working East Midlands Responsibilities: Assist the Regeneration and Place Manager in the development and delivery of local regeneration polices, strategies, projects and plans Deliver and enable masterplans and other regeneration projects in full consultation with all appropriate internal and external stakeholders with a focus on integration of activity across the Council Directly support the Regeneration and Place Manager and Principal Regeneration Officer in the delivery of the Council's regeneration projects and regeneration priorities relating to key strategic sites / opportunities Responsible for the setting of briefs for the appointment of external consultants Engage with the private sector in securing investment and construction in physical regeneration of all types, including engaging with potential developers, investors and the local business community Plan and prepare regeneration related events/consultation exercises including the design and production of leaflets, exhibition material and other public information documentation as required Write technically correct and accurate reports on regeneration issues and projects for Council Committees Requirements: Knowledge of the property development industry Experience in assisting with the preparation of funding bids and ability to write accurately, timely and persuasive bids Experience (minimum 3 years) of working on / implementing regeneration projects within a local authority context To be considered for this excellent opportunity, please apply now with your most up to date CV.
