We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable HLTA to join our team. Position Overview: Are you passionate about supporting students' learning journeys and making a difference in their lives? Our dynamic and inclusive school community is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education while nurturing the development of young minds. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Lesson Delivery: Support classroom teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects and age groups. Small Group Instruction: Lead small group activities, providing additional support to students who may require extra assistance or extension activities. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assist in assessing students' progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing feedback to teachers to aid in the development of individualized learning plans. Behavior Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by implementing behavior management strategies and providing pastoral support to students as needed. Resource Development: Contribute to the development of teaching resources, including lesson plans, worksheets, and educational materials, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement and student success. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning Support or equivalent (desirable but not essential) Proven experience working in a classroom setting, preferably as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA (desirable but not essential) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents/carers. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards supporting the diverse needs of students and the school community. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to provide feedback and support.
